27th Annual Brainwash Movie Festival

Saving North won 2nd Grand Prize at 27th Brainwash Film Festival

The Annual Brainwash Drive-In/Bike-In/Walk-In Movie Festival  –
With a virtual plethora of weird, unusual and just plain great short and feature movies, this year again promises to be worthy of the culmination of over 20 years of fine movies for audience enjoyment and edification from Brainwash. A must see again this year, including movies that will entice, shock the sensibilities and touch your heart. Witness, also, the settings: Nimby, the original DIY industrial art space in Oakland.
The New York Times says the Brainwash Movie Festival “pirat[es] a piece of that old Hollywood magic and challeng[es] conventions on the role of public space in the process.”
You won’t want to miss it!

"Through a move in venue from Oakland to the high eastern Sierra mountains, and a subsequent devastating fire that burned most of our host's facilities, except our screen; a devastating planet-wide and still ongoing pandemic, and now, war, Brainwash somehow continues.

So, in the midst of drama worthy of an Indian Jones movie, Brainwash awards Saving North: Rescuing the Wooden Churches of Northern Russia Second Grand Prize (our highest Award) in the 2021 Brainwash Drive-In/Bike-In/Walk-In Movie Festival!

An announcement is up now on our website, http://BrainwashM.com and about to go out on a wide scale to all of our fans and friends.

We may even get our sponsors back together for you, but no guarantees for this reason, given the aforementioned maladies abounding.

Seriously, though, thank you for some great work, and looking forward to me from you in the future!"
